Erin Wilson is a graduate of Spelman College. In nearly a decade of working in the anti-trafficking industry, Ms. Wilson has served in case management, victim advocacy, law enforcement crisis response, community outreach, and assisted in program directing. In her recent role, Ms. Wilson has written, researched, and developed programming initiatives related to combating the issue of human trafficking in response to state and local
legislation, assisted in grant writing, and conducted training for various organizations relating to the topic. She has worked with human trafficking victims of domestic and international origins and worked closely with law enforcement on a local and federal level. Furthermore, she has served as a law clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, working in human trafficking and sex crimes units. Additionally, she has worked as a
judicial intern in the Los Angeles Superior Court. She has supported labor and sex trafficking victims in intersecting facets such as homelessness, substance abuse, and victim involvement in the judicial system. She provides a unique perspective in that she has seen human trafficking cases from their inception of operations through the prosecution and conviction of traffickers; sitting in on numerous victim interviews with law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.
Charis Moon is a results-driven professional with a remarkable blend of leadership, strategic planning, and technical expertise. She currently serves as the lead business intelligence developer in the higher education sector. Charis runs a team of analyst and developers for a higher education university. Her position and team are dedicated to the data management goals, strategies, communications, governance models, and plans necessary to execute the university’s business strategy.
As a seasoned leader, she has a unique combination of managerial skills and hands-on technical proficiency. She has held positions that focus not only on data analytics but business intelligence, data governance, project management, diversity and inclusion, and artificial intelligence. Charis has contributed to successfully envisioning and executing strategic initiatives using innovative technology. She specializes in dashboard building, data analytics, data management, data governance, and ETL development.
Ms. Moon has a comprehensive understanding of using complex technical landscapes to make informed decisions and allocate resources effectively. She has persuasive communicator abilities and is a known collaborative team player who excels at bridging the gap between technical teams and executive leadership. Charis maintains a commitment to continuous learning, staying at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies to remain ahead of the curve and has plans in the future to merge her technically skills with patent law. Charis is a proud graduate of Spelman College. She is a mathematician and owns her own tutoring company. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing golf.
